This brand comes from a highland tea plantation surrounded by tall cedar and eucalyptus forests. The light blue extracted from fine tea leaves like sand is brown like teak wood. A full-bodied, chewy taste with a clear and pleasant astringency that overlaps the sweetness. The refreshing flavor that can be felt faintly in the aftertaste is also attractive. luckyland tea plantation
It is a relatively new tea plantation founded in 1968 by an Englishman in the western highlands of Uva. At an altitude of 1,523 meters, the company's 353-hectare tea plantation, which has a great view, is planted with about 80% of tea plants grown from seeds, which is becoming rare these days. In addition to our own tea fields, we also use tea leaves purchased from 60 farmers to make tea. We produce 5 grades of black tea with a strong taste, mainly BOP type.
“Udapselawa”, an area created by dividing Uva
Eastern side of the central mountainous region of Sri Lanka. The area that used to be called Uva was divided as Udapselawa. Much like Uva, the dry season is from July to September, and the quality season is around this time. Some regions produce black teas at higher altitudes than Uva, with a stronger flavor and fuller bodied flavors of rose and a hint of menthol.
