Giddapahar Tea Estate

Founded in 1888 in the Kurseong South area, it is a relatively small tea plantation with an annual production of 30 tons on a 93-hectare tea plantation, while there are large-scale tea plantations such as Goom Tea Tea Garden, Rohini Tea Garden, and Sering Hill Tea Garden in the vicinity. It is also a tea farm run by a family, which is rare these days. The name of the tea garden means "Vulture Hill". The name comes from the fact that there are flocks of vultures flying on the cliffs in the tea plantations, overlooking the entire tea plantation.

A fragrance nurtured by the Himalayas, Darjeeling

Darjeeling tea is considered one of the world's three major black teas and is known as the ``champagne of teas'' due to its delicate aroma. It's a famous production area that even people who don't like tea know about.

Darjeeling has three quality seasons with different characteristics: spring, summer, and autumn. Autumnals are harvested from late October to November, the last time of the year.
Unlike spring or summer picking, where bright yellow new buds spread all over the tea fields and the tea fields appear to glow (flash), they grow in the Himalayas in autumn, when the temperature has dropped and there are signs of winter. It is made by collecting tea leaves that sprout here and there from tea plants that have slowed down. Therefore, it is not called First Flush, Second Flush, or Autumn Flush like other quality seasons, but Autumnual.
