Seeyok tea estate factory

Located in the Darjeeling Milik region on the border with Nepal, it is a tea plantation spread out in a valley surrounded by Sungma & Turzum tea estates, Selimbong tea estate and Gopaldhara tea estate. Founded in 1860. The name of the tea estate comes from the name of an insect and the Lepcha word meaning "very far". Many of the tea trees planted in the tea fields are Chinese hybrids or Assam hybrids. It is one of the few tea estates that has a good quality original Chinese tea plantations and preserves it to convey the scent of Darjeeling in the good old days. Darjeeling is a relatively early adopter of organic tea estate.

Darjeeling tea is known as one of the world's three major black teas, and is called "the champagne of black tea" due to its delicate and strong aroma. Even if you don't like black tea, it's a famous production area.
Darjeeling has three distinct quality seasons: spring, summer and autumn. The second flush, picked from the end of May to June, is full of rich, full-bodied flavors and aromas in the summer sun. Some high-quality brands have a sweet scent that is unique to Darjeeling and is called muscatel flavor (musk).
