Mimu Tea Garden
It is a tea plantation founded in 1832 belonging to the Darjeeling East Area.
It has 187 hectares of tea plantation at an altitude of 1,500m, and has introduced bio-organic farming methods in some plots since 2010. It is known as a tea garden with a high reputation for first flush tea. Today, it is the only tea plantation in Darjeeling that is operated by an Indian government-affiliated company, but it was originally founded by an Englishman and was named after Mrs. Mem (MEM), who was the wife of the former owner of the tea plantation. It is said that it came to be called (MIM).
Located near Nepal, the tea plantation spreads out on a land rich in nature overlooking Kanjenjunga, which boasts the third highest altitude in the world. We accept tourism where you can get a glimpse of the experience.
