A fragrance nurtured by the Himalayas, Darjeeling
Darjeeling has three quality seasons with different characteristics: spring, summer, and autumn.
Autumnals are harvested from late October to November, the last time of the year.
Unlike spring or summer picking, where bright yellow new buds spread all over the tea fields and the tea fields appear to glow (flash), they grow in the Himalayas in autumn, when the temperature has dropped and there are signs of winter. It is made by collecting tea leaves that sprout here and there from tea plants that have slowed down. Therefore, it is not called First Flush, Second Flush, or Autumn Flush like other quality seasons, but Autumnual.
