Special first flush Darjeeling, carefully hand-plucked from select tea bushes, consisting of one bud and two leaves
From Badamtam Tea Estate, whose name derives from the Lepcha words meaning 'the Bank of Bamboos', comes this graceful first flush Darjeeling tea.
Carefully hand-plucked from AV2 tea bushes, the slender tips and young leaves gently unfurl to brew a pale golden liquor with the soft glow of the full moon.
With crystal-clear freshness, delicate herbal notes and an effortlessly light finish, it captures the quiet elegance of spring in the Himalayas.

Badamtam Tea Estate
Located 17 kilometers west of Darjeeling town, the estate was established in 1861 by its owner and pioneer, Mr. Cristine Bames, on land offering magnificent views of Mount Kanchenjunga. Spanning an elevation range of 300 to 1,800 meters, the estate produces 250 tons of high-quality tea annually, covering the full seasonal spectrum—from the early spring First Flush to the rich, full-bodied Second Flush and the mellow Autumnal.
Furthermore, the estate maintains exceptionally high standards of worker welfare—including housing, education, and health and hygiene facilities—serving as a role model within the group for these practices.
A fragrance nurtured by the Himalayas, Darjeeling
The "First Flush," harvested from late March through the first half of April, marks the year's initial harvest—a time eagerly awaited by tea enthusiasts worldwide. Its bright yellow liquor releases a greenish aroma reminiscent of lush, spring-fresh meadows. This particular season is especially popular among tea lovers in France, Germany, and Japan.
